If you're eating low carb, then meat is a staple. Unfortunately, meat without spices, glazes, rubs, or gravy can be boring. Often, when eating out the glazes or sauces do you in your decision to eat healthy and not the entree. This is why I was excited when I found Spice Islands Turkey Rub.
The flavorful rub only has two carbs per serving. This is a little deceiving since the only carbs will be on the skin as opposed to the actual meat. So in actuality, it is even less per serving. Here's to a flavorful turkey. Remember turkey leftovers make a great turkey salad simply by grinding turkey, and mixing in mayonaise, dill relish, and a little mustard for a total of zero carbs.
