I made these for Thanksgiving. I used yeast from a baggie my stepdaughter confessed she had no clue how old it was. I expected a little more rise than I got, but I blame it on the yeast. They had a nice texture and a nutty flavor of a multi-grain row.
I would buy them again. Overall, they weren't that hard to make. You'll need at least thirty minutes for them to rise. So plan on sixty minutes for overall preparation time.
Carbs: One per roll
Appearance: They were more biscuit-like
Taste: slightly nutty leaning toward whole wheat
Texture: full more biscuit-like
Cost: $6.98 for package, which makes twelve rolls
